Located on the South Texas coast, Corpus Christi is the largest and most vibrant city in the Coastal Bend. The Cottage House at Padre Beach, on North Padre Island is just a short drive over the JFK causeway bridge and the intracoastal waterway. It has all of the benefits of a large city but is still on "the island" and is a more relaxed and casual environment. Corpus Christi shares the same latitude as Tampa, Florida but without the crowds and the inflated coastal living prices. A tropical destination down I-35, 2.5 hours south of San Antonio, Corpus Christi has an abundance of activities for the whole family. Corpus Christi is also only a 3 hour drive to Mexico and a 3.5 hour drive to Houston.
